Is there a way to just capture video and not audio? I'm using firewire and
would like to have both audio tracks. 1 for VO and the other for music.
Thanks!

Thanks. How do you replace the audio once it's been imported to Moviemaker? I
looked for a way to separate the audio and video but didn't find anything.

Never mind....I found out how to do it. Highlight audio track, right-click
and delete. More simple than I was making it out to be:-) Thanks for the help!

Sorry...I made a mistake. The clip I deleted the audio from had no audio to
begin with. It was just a picture with some text on it that I imported. Can
you separate audio from the video track?

You can't delete the audio track that's associated with the video... but you
can right click on it and mute it. That'll leave whatever you put on the
music/audio track as the only sound on the movie...

But what if you want narration and music together(without the original clip
audio)? How can those 2 be mixed without making it really complicated?

In a second pass of course. Save the movie with first audio in the music
track. Then import this new movie back in Movie Maker timeline: the
music track is empty for another music track... and so on.

I think I have it! I mute the clip audio, add the narration to the 2nd audio
track, save it as a movie, bring it back into MM and add music. Right? Thanks
for the help!
