I want to send a file for e-mail. When I use the settings for e-mail, it compresses to a very poor and blurry image
My intent is to be able to take a file from my DV and e-mail it. Any suggestions. Thanks

Import it into MovieMaker and then save it as a WMV file..... however all
video files are going to be quite large.... DV-AVI is going to be the
biggest... 12gb per hour. You want to edit it to be as short as possible
and in the most compressed format... it will NOT look particularly good.
But that's life if you want to email it.

Thanks-

I did that and it looks like I am filming with water on the lenses. Definitely not clear enough to realy see whats going on. Oh well, I guess I willhaveto burn it to a disc.
thanks

It does obviously depend on how large an attachment the recipient's email
will allow.... for instance most ISPs allow only one attachment 1mb in
size... if the recipient has their own mail server or their ISP is generous,
they may allow larger attachments... you should check with them first....

I have unlimited size attachments allowed on my mail servers.... but I'd
hate to receive a file over (say) 10mb in size without being notified it was
on its way first!
