I was able to capture a movie but there was no sound when it was finished.
How can I fix this?

Also since then, everytime I go to capture, it freezes up. What can I do to
fix this?
Thank you

Capture from where? What connection
did you use?

Have a look at the following article:

Maybe you need more RAM...2 GB or more
is not a bad idea when working with video.

A system usually performs best when the
hard drive is at least 50% free space.

Disconnecting from the net, and closing
other programs...especially virus scanners
can help. And don't multi-task...even playing
Solitaire can waste the resources you need
for working with video.

Increasing the size of your Virtual Memory
Paging File may help...read the following

Doing some maintenance may help:

Running Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
Defrag on a regular schedule is a good idea.

(check the two boxes..."Automatically fix file
system errors" and "Scan for and attempt
recovery of bad sectors") the utility will run
the next time you restart your computer.
(run error checking repeatedly until it finds
no errors)
