Url2Bmp

url2bmp is a Windows freeware converting an URL to an image.

It doesn't work. I have captured a blank image using this... :(
Thanks anyway.

Do you have the config where you can open a PDF with your browser (inline
display)? If so, have you tried launching Url2Bmp once you've loaded the
PDF that way?

I haven't used Url2bmp, but am hypothesizing it is not picky which
protocol you are using, http:// or file:///

Yes, I could see the pdf opened in url2bmp.
It also said "File written with no error", but the image was blank.
I used file:///c:\filename.pdf

PhotoFiltre
http://www.photofiltre.com/
PhotoFiltre is a complete image retouching program.

Download and Install the plug-in "Screen Capture" for PhotoFiltre

Screen Capture
Allows advanced screencaptures. Serveral capture modes are supported
(screen, window, selection, ect...)

I had the same problem and could not find a screen capture program that would
capture the virtual window implied by the scroll bars, instead of the part
showing on the screen. This makes sense since, I believe all these programs
grab the pixels on the screen.

One solution that is not half bad is to capture, for instance, 4, visible
screenfulls in 4 files. Then use the ever popular Infranview image viewer to
glue them together: Infranview has a `create panoramic image' option that will
make one large image from 4 smaller image file by placing each image at the
edge of the last one - either horizontally or vertically.

I believe that URL2bmp will do what you want. You can find it here

I'm looking for a program that will capture the contents, scrolling or
not, of a DOS window in Win98SE, as it appears on screen.

The problem I have is that periodically I run into program that runs
in a DOS window and closes the window immediately after encountering a
problem and displaying a message. There's no time to read the message,
let alone save it (that I know of).

Latest instance of this is when trying to burn ISOs with Dirk Paehl's
EasyBurning 1.62. After I select the burner and "burn
ISO".EasyBurning calls CDRecord in a DOS Window.

If I select my older Plextor burner, CDRecord starts a countdown and
then burns the ISO, showing the progress in the DOS window. But if I
select my new LG4040B multi-burner, the DOS window opens, some lines
of text flash by on the screen, and the window closes again (I believe
there may be a fix for this described in the "problems" file, but I
can't quite follow it).
