Capture Device hardware list

I am trying to find a list of capture devices for
MovieMaker. Does Microsoft have a hardware compatability
list of "approved" capture devices?

Microsoft does not have an official supported capture hardware list no. But
PapaJohn may have some information regarding this. PapaJohn?
