Captions on Pictures

I would like to have the titles of my pictures show when I view them as a
slide show. How do I turn this feature on and off?
 
You can view the photos using Filmstrips which shows the titles in the top
lefthand corner. But in slideshows no titles are shown, that is because it is
a show to view. Using the Slideshow feature in Windows Picture and FAX
Viewer (F11) does not show titles. I have several slideshow applications
and none have a feature that will display their titles. You can overlay each
photo on the bottom of the frame with their title and then it will display
but also ruin the photo itself. Maybe another reader of this post knows of
an application that has that feature, I don't know of any??? Good Luck. :~)
 
IRFANVIEW's slideshow shows file names and is very easy to
setup. Picture selection is fully at your choice.
