caps keep enabling

Whenever I type in my wword docs now, the typing changes to caps. I go to change case and change it back to toggle case and it works fine for a while but goes back to caps. This is killing me. Is there any way to force it to stay in toggle
I have already installed and re-installed my entire offic esuite
 
Make sure you don't have (a) the Caps Lock key depressed or (b) the text
formatted as All Caps (Ctrl+Shift+A). And note that "Toggle case" is not a
case per se; it merely reverses the action of the Caps Lock key. In fact, if
this actually imposed any formatting, its effect might be to reverse the
case of the text you enter, but I believe Format | Change Case applies only
to selected text, not text entered subsequently.
