I'm beginning to think that the caps rule does not work with AutoText, but
that it does with AutoCorrect! For example, if I enter an auto correct
keyword of simp and a correction of simplicity then whatever format of caps
I select for typing simp (Simp; SIMP) that is the format provided of the
replacement text. I suspect I should use AutoCorrect for the purpose I am
seeking.

| Suzanne, thanks for your response! And I believe you are describing what
| should happen, but ...
|
| As an example, I have added "simplicity" to AutoText. When I begin to type
| in a document "Simp" the pop up window offers to replace it and I press
| enter and it is replaced with "simplicity" not "Simplicity."
|
| Any idea what is going on? Do I misunderstand something?

| || If you add the word in lowercase, then the result will follow your
|| formatting of the entry name. That is, if you use an initial cap or all
| caps
|| when typing the entry name, the entry will be inserted with an initial
cap
|| or all caps.
