capitalizing after numbers

D

Deb

I am trying to figure out how to make Word 2002 in XP
capitalize the first word of the sentence that follows a
number with punctuation. See example below

S: 1. The first word should automatically be
capitalized.
2. Same here.
3. Same here.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated. I get
paid by the line and not the keystrokes and would like to
save a keystroke or two.

Hi Deb,

It's probably a bug.

Are the numbers done with a style?
Then I might suggest a possible work-around:
Define the auto-numbered style(s) with two dots while you work on the
document, and change it back to one dot when you are finished.
Don't know if it's worth the effort, though :-/

Regards,
Klaus

You must use the Shift key for this. Word 2002 will not capitalize after a
number, even in running text.
