I have just updated to XP home edition with Internet
Explorer 6.0. I seem to be having continuous problems
viewing web pages. I get an error that says website
can't be found or cannot view web page (something like
that). However, I have a good connection to the net
(cable connection) and other internet applications are
able to access the net (ie, outlook express, yahoo
messenger, etc) with no problem. Only IE gives the
indication that it can't access the net.

Yeah I had the same problem, here is what i found, if you
have proxy settings for one isp then switch to another it
screws it up.

Here is how i fixed it:
go tools, internet options, connections, then either lan
settings and get rid of all the proxy stuff, just delete
it all, or settings then delete the proxy stuff. Hope it
works.
