Can't view source of any sites

I'm unable to view the source of "any" site. Is there
something in the setup that enables/disables this option.
I'm wanting to work on a site for someone and can't see
how it's setup. Please and thanks.
Notepad is installed and working on this site.
IE 6, W2K

It doesn't look like a temp files or notepad issue (which is what the
microsoft link aludes to), but I'll check out the first link when I'm back
at that pc. I'm always cleaning out temp files and temp internet files, so
that's not the issue.

I'll see if maybe that particular pc was set to perhaps read the source
files with other software. That's referred to in the 2nd link.

I thought I had responded but I don't see it, so I must have dreamed it.
Thanks for the leads. I'm wondering if it might be the situation where it's
looking for some other program to view the source in, so that's where I
gonna look when I'm back at that pc. Otherwise, I don't see anything else
that's listed that would be responsible, because those issues don't exist or
aren't issues at all. Notepad is there and works and temp files of all
kinds are regularly removed by me. I know that the files I'm looking at are
not restricted and I'm pretty sure they are downloading properly.
