i have a network with two XP Home and 1 Windows 2000 Pro
computers. i can view/share everything fine between XP
computers, and i can view everything from my 2000
computer. however, i cannot share anything on my 2000
computer and do not even see the computer on my local
network when i try to view it from either of my XP
computers

my 2000 computer is wirelessly networked. any help is
appreciated. thanks

first, are the workgroup names on all machines the same? are you logging on
using the same username/password to all machines? can you connect to the
machine by unc path: \\<computer name>?

Dan

yes, workgroup is the same across all computers....different usernames and passcodes. i will try the unc path thing. but basically, i know the 2000 laptop is connected to the network, because i can view my other computers on it. i just can't view the 2000 computer on the network, or share any of the 2000's files and folders.
