Can't view monthly calendar

When I open Calendar on Outlook (2000), I can view the
daily details in the middle column and Tasks on the right
column, but not the monthly calendar that usually sits
right above the Tasks. Can anyone help me to retrieve the
monthly calendar view?

Go to the top of the task pad move your pointer slowly

up & down until you get the up & down arrow with two
horz. lines, now drag down until you have your monthly
Cal.
