Basically whenever there is an image on a website that is
a *.gif image it is a box with a red "X" in it. I have
seen some similar postings on here but I have not found a
solution. Anyone know what I need to do? It is really
annoying because I can't really see the content of the web
pages!

Thanks!

The usual fix is to rename your HOSTS file to OLDHOSTS
(all in caps) and then reboot.
To find the HOSTS file go to:
If you have Win 2K/Xp: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Or if you have Win 98/ME: C:\WINDOWS
If you don't see the HOSTS file then it's because it is
hidden, so set your computer to "Show Hidden Files and
Folders."

Hope this helps,
Debbie
