Can't view built-in groups in a remote domain

I'm having an issue when trying to create a Restricted Groups policy.

My goal(via group policy) is to add a new global group into the local
administrators group of all the workstations in the remote domain.

when I set this up in my local domain I can see the built-in groups
(Administrators, Backup Operators,Users, etc.) and can add my global group
into 'Administrators'

But when I access the remote domain from the local domain and try to
configure the same policy in a remote domain, I can only see the global
groups (Domain Admins, Enterprise Admins, etc.) of the remote domain.

why would this be ??

thanks in advance

I don't know why offhand but you can simply type administrators into the box
of group to use for restricted group if you can not browse to
administrators. --- Steve
