Hello,

I'm trying to help a friend with her Windows XP computer and we've
run across an interesting problem. When going to www.animetrics.com it
says "page can not be displayed." We can not ping it or his IP address
either. We have dialed into other access numbers and still can not
view this website.

Called the ISP and they can get to it. And also other people on the
same ISP can get to this website. We deleted the cookies, temporary
internet files, clearned the history, and reset all, advanced,
security, and Privacy settings in IE to default. We've even gone as
far as to check her c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts for any
traces of animetrics.com with no luck. Any ideas?

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
