Can't vary my e-mail address

I sign in window messenger with my e-mail address
(e-mail address removed) every time I do it says that I need to
verify my e-mail address. When I do what it says to do,
there is not an e-mail from them with a link for me to
click on. But that is my e-mail address (e-mail address removed).
It says until I varify my e-mail address, it will have
that by my name. And I can never see when anyone is on-
line. It wont let me send instant messege. Can you please
let them know some how that (e-mail address removed) is my e-mail
address. I thank you for your help, and time.
