Before I changed my keyboard I changed the IDE drivers to : "Standard
Dual-Channel PCI IDE Controller" on the harddisk with WinXP SP2.

I then changed motherboard and connected my harddisk. It starts up fine and
I get to a point where I need to reactivate winXP, but I can't use my mouse
or keyboard (it is a new keyboard and mouse).

Its not even possible to enter bios by pressing "Del" when I boot up.

Hope someon can help!

I am going out on a limb here and saying that this new KB and Mouse are
USB? If so, grab an old keyboard and get into the BIOS and enable the
Legacy USB Support so the USB ports will function with the new keyboard
before windowz boots up. You should then be able to get into the ID
without the mouse, and then the system will detect and install the
needed drivers.

I use a new PS2 keyboard and an USB mouse. Could it help to reset the CMOS?

PS/2 keyboard? If so it sounds like your mainboard is broken. Are you sure
it's DEL to get to the BIOS?

Have you got your keyboard plugged into the correct ps2 port (I say this
'cos I have made that simple mistake). Try all keys to try and get into
BIOS as Noozer says, F1 etc. Go back to your old ps2 mouse and try with
that, then set up the usb mouse when you get further.
