Can't use address book after reinstall?

My system was getting bogged down and buggy and I knew after almost a year it
was time for a complete reformat and reinstall. After reinstalling Office
2003, I copied my pst and dat files to the \Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. Upon restarting Outlook, I noticed all of my
old emails and my calendars and tasks were there. My contacts were all there
as well. However, whenever I try to open my address book to send an email or
whatever I get an error message. It states:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove
this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook Help."

I can't seem to find anything in the help files because I'm not sure what
the problem is and I don't know what to look under. My contacts are all there
and I can look at them and edit them through the contacts view. I just can't
add them to an email using the address book and they don't pop automatically
after typing the first few characters of the contact name the way they used
to.

Any ideas? What did I do wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to offer any assistance.

Sincerely,
- Byron Followell

I finally found an answer in another post after about an hour of searching so
no one needs to reply to this one. Thanks anyway guys. If anyone needs help
on this one, post here and I'll try to steer you towards the answer I found.
