Can't upgrade to Vista

I am trying to upgrade my Windows XP SP2 system, and it gets all the way to
the end ("Complete Installation"), and it ultimately fails with the following
error:

"An error occurred while editing boot entries."

Anyone have any ideas? I do have three drives in the machine with one of
them having Linux installed. I do use System Commander as my boot loader,
but I have also disabled it (I have not un-installed it) and the same error
as above occurs.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Alternative install methods can be found here - option 4 :o)

Thanks Zack for the info, and I had used Option 4 as in this aritcle you
provided the link for, that is, copy the files to a local drive and install
from that location.

I also know the .iso is good as I just finished installing Vista with VMWare
on my Windows XP SP2 system that I want to upgrade with the same .iso Vista.

It seems that others are having similar issues with the "boot entries"
error, I just would like to know what it is so I can "fix it" and then
upgrade.

Any other thoughts, feel free to provide the info!

I am having the same problem. During file extraction I get the same error. I
have verified my download to be correct. If anyone has any ideas it would be
appreciated. I will try it again in a minute as a clean install. See if that
helps.
