Can't update

I have Defender Beta 2 version 1.14.1408.8. When I try to update it I get an
error msg.: 0x80070422 The server cannot be started...
Do you know if that error? What can I do?
Please advise.

Type "net start windefend" in the command prompt.

I too have the same problem trying to update. I tried the command prompt
entry with no success. Please advise further action.
