Greetings,

I have a client who has many Windows 2000 Pro workstations. I have Group
Policy set to enable the password protected screensaver after 10 minutes. If
the user forgets their password (happens often) and the password is reset;
the workstation is still looking for the old password. Is there a way to get
the windows 2000 workstations to check against the new password?

I was actually able to fix it by setting:

Computer>Windows>Security>Local>Security Options>Interactive Logon: Require
DC to unlock workstation.

Thanks

Hello,

If the pass is lost then in order to reset it I suppose using Active@
Password Changer tool. That is a really useful tool, it worked great
for me and never yet failed. You should definately give it a glance.

The problem wasn't changing the password, it was the fact that after it's
changed it still wanted the old one.
