Can't "uninstall"

Hello everyone, I have two programs on my computer that I want to "uninstall". Niether come with there own uninstall. When I go to the control panel, find the program and click on "remove" the "wizard starts up like it is going to do it's job but then an "error" window pops up and says "can't find the install file" or something like that. Does anyone have any idea how to get these programs off my computer? I'm not too sharp with this PC stuff so someone please HELP!

Sometimes if you insert the CD that the programs came on, it will give you the option to uninstall, or reinstall...

Can you tell us what you're trying to uninstall?

... a 12boar shotgun works on my PCs, they know better than to argue.

I don't use or condone violence ... I merely point the thing at my PC and it does as I tell it. :p

Hello again Muckshifter, I am trying to uninstall Corel Graphics Suite 11 because it is too advanced for me. I also have Adobe Elements 2.0 which I enjoy using. The other thing I want to uninstall is Power DVD 5, I am satisfied with Windows Media Player 10.

Which Windows are you using? In XP, it is in "Add and Remove Programes" ... as is power DVD.
