can't uninstall office xp

I installed Office XP and couldn't get Outlook to work (exchange server
wouldnt respond) and Word was acting funny, so I decided to uninstall it,
tried, and it wont let me. Keeps telling me administrator has settings wont
allow this function. I can't figure out what to do, and am getting more
frustrated by the minute since this is a brand new machine and I cant do
anything! any ideas?
 
Use restore mode to restore to a day before you put it in and problem should
be solved

BTW, I used to have the same as you and when I got Vista, I found that
Outlook wouldn't remember passwords under Vista. 27 email accounts!! So I
updated to Office 2007 and never looked back.
