Can't uninstall Nero 5.5.3.5

I was doing a cd-rw disc format with Nero and received a stop error 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0x00001160, 0xF8AFA88C, 0x00000000). Tried a reboot and then recieved a "Checking file system on C: The type of the file system is FAT32. One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency..... goes through the entire disk check and then boots up to XP. Attempted to uninstall Nero and it starts to uninstall and then gives another stop error message.

Appreciate any guidance in how to uninstall Nero within the DOS command prompt, have no DOS experience but, if given the correct way to type it in should be able to make it work. Or how to do it with XP

Forgot to add that the cd-rw will not recognize any CD's and I get the "E: Drive not accessible" error. Thanks again.
