Hi all
I've just changed my AV program to McAfee (on the grounds that work provides me a free licenced copy so why not
However, for obvious reasons i want to uninstall my existing copy of AVG.
Tried doing this last night (after mcafee for some weird reason didnt uninstall it....which is what happened last time i swapped between the two) but I keep getting the error message "Autoexec.nt is not a suitable file for running programs in dos or windows. Press close to close this application then bang your head against the wall repeatedly"
Ok..i made the last bit up but.....this is really annoying. It wont uninstall through any route i tried and..of course....when I tried the unthinkable, just deleting the AVG folder, i get an access denied message...presumably because it was still running somewhere (even though i ended the process through task manager).
Any clues??
