I have gone to Windows Explorer and Folder Options both and checked show
hidden files, but I still can't see hidden files/folders in Windows
Explorer. If I use a third party program like FreeCommander, I can see the
hidden stuff just fine.

Perplexed,
Dan

If you're looking for hidden system files, there's another item in Folder
Options that you need to change. Disable (uncheck) "Hide protected operating
system files"

RubyJack,

Open a folder
TOOLS menu | FOLDER OPTIONS | VIEW tab

Select HIDE PROTECTED OPERATING SYSTEM FILES & untick it

Select SHOW HIDDEN FILES & FOLDERS

Click APPLY
Click OK

Not sure why you want to see those anyway as you cannot get into folders like
System Volume... on the protected OS files...

Thanks for the reply, but I did both of these and still no files. That's
why I'm perplexed.

Still perplexed,
Dan
