I hope someone can help here
I can't seen to type in a full-screened DOS box in XP Home
If I launch a box that's windowed, such as running IPCONFIG from the STart, Run, Cmd line it works great, but as soon as I try to maximize or press Alt Enter to maximize I can no longer type. It just kinda freezes! I have to click the X button in upper right corner, then click Yes to the "closing this windows blah blah blah..." message
I have tweaked and re-tweaked VEERY possible combination of advanced settings to the shortcut, but NOTHING works
Any idea How to fix this
I was told that Win XP PRO will solve this problem. Anybody know that either
Thanks in advance

You can get a fully functional DOS window in Home, I use it everyday on my
XP home machine. Here is a link explaining some settings you might change
to get more memory to the DOS window.

Basically though, add EMM=RAM to your config.nt, and for typing delays try
moving the "idle sensitivity" slider in DOS properties.
