cant type in body box

I cannot type in online email body boxes. I have tried
accounts on yahoo and hotmail. I am able to type in the
address fields but cannot type in the body box. Please
help me.
 
I have the same problem with IE6 and am using Netscape
instead. Any help would be appreciated from someone out there.
