Can't type in a command prompt

I cannot type in the command prompt. For anything, MSN,
Hotmail, Google or even Yahoo. If you know of any fixes I
would appreciate it

Copy and past the URL in your Address bar. If you get to the site then you
have some parasites.

Rule out parasites.
