Can't transfer project to my DV cam anymore

I have done several short projects using still photos and music. Transfered
all of them to my DV cam. Worked great. I have now completed a very long
project, 44 minutes. Went to transfer it, got the error message that the
system needed to shut down. I do not have IE7. I tried to transfer some of
the old shorter projects over again, got the error message this time as well.
The program did crash several times over the weeks I was working on this
project. It would just freeze up. Any help would be appreciated. Please know
that I do not know much about computers. I have read a lot on this group, but
not sure which, if any, of these cures is best.

If all the files are compatible then I'd suggest using system restore back
to before these programmes were installed and try again.

This particular project is all still photos, jpeg, and audio, mp3. All my
others have been too. But this one is much longer. I did read on another
board related to this one that jpeg and mp3 are not the best for MM2. But
these are already done. Ok, my name says it all....I am not a computer guy.
"system restore?" How do I do that and what does it do? thanks

I wouldn't bother with system restore at this point, but concentrate on
using compatible files.

MP3's in particular cause trouble, so I'd start with making a new project
with all the pictures and add some wav/wma/wmv audio and see if the problem
goes away. If it does, then remake your original prokect replacing the mp3's
with wma.wav/wmv music.

cdex is good for converting mp3 files, free as well, available from a link
