I bought an HP Pavilion 4420 notebook with XP preloaded.
Took it home, went through the automatic setup to create
user accounts for myself and my wife. Install MS Office
2000. Works fine until I go to log out of my account and
into my wife's. Then the video changes to low resolution.
You can't fix it. When you try to change the screen
resolution, a blue screen full of text pops up for about 1
second (too fast to read) and then the computer reboots.
I took the computer back to where I bought it from and
they give me another. I take it home and the same thing
happens again. What's going on?
