I've near-identical machines in an office one of which exhibits this
failure, and the other does not.

I don't have a fix, except to wait for beta2, I'm afraid.

Steve Dodson [MSFT] formulated on torsdag :
I was finally able to get an in-house repro of this as well. We are looking
at the details and should be resolved in B2.

Hi

Can you please update FAQ for Microsoft Antispyware !?

Is this a joke ?

Thanks--glad to hear it. I'm probably guilty of making some assumptions
about what will be fixed in beta2, so it's nice to have this one solidly on
the "will be fixed" list.

Bill !

Why polite to this MSFT hiding MS "lurking" person ?

MS have a lot to work with in this "drainage" !

IMHO

Umm - usually I am polite because I like it when folks are polite back to
me--it seems more likely to be productive to me.

Blowing off steam is one thing, but when you are actually trying to
accomplish a goal, and move forward on a project, surely a little politeness
lubricates things?

I have some difficulty demonizing either Microsoft as an entity, or
individual Microsoft employees. What was I really supposed to say?

I'm glad they have a handle on this issue and know how to fix it. I'm sorry
that there's no workaround that is easy to publish for the current beta1
version. And I'm looking forward to beta2 and glad that the effort is going
into making that rock, rather than putting bandaids on beta1.

Hi Bill

I blow out my steam !

MS "MUST" make a real FAQ about Scheduling, Norton challenge
, no Internet connection and so on.

This is a joke !

And Steve IS not alone from MSAS team !

Bill,
I've recently experienced the joy of sending a couple in while hooked to the
domain. From outside, still nothing shaking.

He isn't alone, and one comment I probably shouldn't make is that changing
the FAQ probably wouldn't be his decision alone.

I've got good and bad machines inside domains and out. Definitely a
peculiar one.
