can't stop popups!

I am still having issues stopping popups. I have ran both
Ad Aware and Spybot, and I'm still receiving popup windows
right when I open up IE and later, when I'm searching
different pages. The ones that initially open up are
small windows (usually no more than an inch in height and
a few inches long). Any ideas how to get rid of these?

He means to download and install a personal firewall, namely Kerio.
Though you may need a popup stopper such as that from panicware.com.

You need a firewall if you do not have one. Zone Alarm is adequate for novice users,
though Sygate and Kerio are more powerful, but require a bit of tcp/ip understanding
to take full advantage of. You can go to http://scan.sygatetech.com/ to do a quick
scan to do a basic vulnerability test on your computer. See the link below for more
help and I highly recommend the Google Tool Bar as a browser pop up stopper. ---
