Help!

Am using an laptop to ask this question. I cant start
windows on my PC. It says "Window XP home edition"
followed by blue screen saying "windows is starting up"
then blank and it starts again. Pressing F8 gives some
options of safe mode etc but none make any difference it
just goes round in circles not even starting in "safe
mode" or "last known good configuration"
any ideas please

You may be able to solve the problem with the System Restore tool if
it does not exist for a longer time yet. See "How to Start System
Restore Tool From a Command Prompt in Windows XP"
If this does not help you may have to reinstall Windows as described
here: "How to Perform an In-Place Upgrade (Reinstallation) of Windows
XP" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315341).
