Just re-installed XP SP2 but i am having a problem in the the system freezes
about 30 seconds after the start up. I have tried increasing the page file
and re-installing. No luck. Is there a way of finding what is causing the
conflict in the first 30 seconds of start up?

If you had to reinstall XP then chances are you have a hardware problem.

Run a RAM test and also run the mfg's HD test.

If RAM and HD are OK then try installing with a minimal hardware
configuration...
and add components one at a time

What was the reason you reinstalled Windows XP?
