Can't start the game NFS Underground

Mixed Shadow

Hi i can't start the game NFS Underground (Swedish) and i do not know what
to do?
After i have installed the game i only get a "blink/ flicker" on my screen
and after that i'm back to windows again, i do not get any kind of error
messages, have also tried to install the Demo (English) and get the same
thing. Have a Hecules/ ATI 9200 card on a MSI-Motherboard whit AMI bios on
it, 512mb ddr. Have also tried to install the game on a other PC whit an MSI
mother board whit an 9800card on it and the same happends there.

Have the latest driver for the OS (ME and XP, running both)/ reinstalled the
OS/ ATI Catalyst 3.9/ and used WinUpdate.
 
all things considered you may have a bad CD of the game.....happens sometimes...if the same thing happens on two entirely different
machine, the only common denominator is the Disk the game came on. I run the game (and demo) on a 7500aiw and 9700p no
problems...using 3.10 beta(cod patch) but did run on 3.9's also.
