Can't start add printer wizard

when i double click the add printer icon .. nothing happens .. it's DEAD
there is no printer installed currently

and when i try clicking on FILE - Server Properties .. nothing happens there
either ..

EEEK !!

HELP !!!
 
I am logged in currently as administrator and the option isn't greyed out it
just won't launch the wizard !!

HELP !!!
 
From the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

note the space between the c and the /

sfc = system file checker. You will need your Windows CD for this.... it
will check system files and if any are corrupt, replace them. Reboot after
it's finished and try once more.

Still Nothing !!

Any other ideas ??
I cleaned out all drivers as per
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm
followed all previous instructions, i am a tech for a computer company so no
matter how involved this gets
i can handle it !!

yeah .. i just tried a system restore back to at least 20 days ago ..
NOTHING ... Guess it's heading that way !
