Can't sign on to Windows XP

We have Windows XP Media Center Edition at home four users. One user,
my daughter, can't sign on to Windows unless she reboots. No one else
has the problem but her. Any suggestions on why Windows doesn't like
her <G>. Steve

What happens when she tries? Any error messages?

Is it an inability to enter her password in the field, there being no
cursor?
