I recently ugraded from Windows NT to Windows 2000. After
the installation, I have not been able to connect to the
Internet. I am using an external 56K modem that appears
to function normally. It dials and appears to connect but
never does, and then starts the process all over again. I
thought at first it was a problem with my Internet
provider, but this has happened 3 days in a row. Any
ideas on what may be causing this?

You'll want to get the instructions from your ISP on configuring your
dial-up connection. Possibly try their web site.
