can't share internet connection

i just got set up with my new broadband connection and
want to share it across my network to the other 2
computers, i used the network setup wizzard and
designated the host machine to share the connection but
when i try to setup up a client pc it can't find the host
on the network, can anyone help me?

can you ping each other by ip? if yes, can you ping them by name? if not,
post the result of ipconfig /all here.
