Windows E-mail will not send e-mails to one specific contact when I create a
new e-mail. However, I can send replies to their e-mail. When I create and
attempt to send a new e-mail I get the following message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'AIG Subscirption',
Account: 'pop-server.tampabay.rr.com', Server: 'smtp-server.tampabay.rr.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E

The answer for the failure to connect , I just resolved you have to change
your SMTP to 587 if you are using verizon . That's the problem.

You can't make that a blanket recommendation unless you know
that the OP's mail server supports port 587.

When you got that error was your Internet connection being obtained
from Roadrunner, or were you using a laptop away from home?

If sending from home, Which antivirus are you running? Some of them
cause problems with Windows Mail over time.
