This has happened on two different computers:
1. Old computer: Win98 running Outlook 2000 SP-3. Email working fine.
Transferred settings and files via the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to
the new computer running XP Pro and Outlook 2000 SP-3. All account settings
seem to be OK but when I click on Send/Receive, the animated status bar
message at the bottom right of Outlook says "Mail Delivery Complete". Also,
cannot send messages - messages stay in Outbox and Outlook says everything is
OK.
2. New Computer: Win XP Pro running Outlook 2000 SP-3. Email working fine.
Transferred settings and files via the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to
the new computer also running XP Pro and Outlook 2000 SP-3. Again all account
settings seem to be OK but when I click on Send/Receive, the animated status
bar message says "Mail delivery complete."
In both cases, when I import mail account settings and folders into Outlook
Express, email can be sent and received as normal.
Does anyone know why this is???? I have tried removing and reinstalling
Outlook on one of the PCs to no avail.
