Can't send outbox messages or delete one of them

I have a message in my outbox that I cannot delete. I get the unknown error
message.

I have tried going in under the cmd prompt and trying to repair the database
that was instructed by other post (after deleting what was in the outbox
file), I have also tried using the WMUtil from the www.oehelp.com website
that was recommended.

It seemed to be doing something when I did both of these, with the exception
of the "clear outbox" option in the WMUtil, that gives me an error saying
unable to locate database.

I still cannot delete the message and I cannot send any emails (and yes I
have tried marking as read and then deleting)... what should I try now, I am
at a loss. Oh, I can receive email.

Have you tried the "compact" option as opposed to the "clear outbox" option
in Steve's utility? I used the compact option and the problem went away.

Give it a try and let me know what happens.
