cant send or receive emails with the new vista mail

Please help i was so happy with outlook express...i didnt realise when i
bought a new computer that i would not be able to send or receive
emails....i have tried to set up the new account but it keeps going on about
pop3 and smtp and errors...how can i fix this? i can access my hotmail
account ok...ty ~Sue~

Do you still have your old computer? If so, just copy the
email account settings from your old computer to the
new one.
If not, ask your ISP or mail provider. BigPond has a self-help
page showing how to set up an email account on Outlook
Express; just use those instructions:

Windows Mail cannot read HOTMAIL HTTP mail.
you need to use a 3rd party program to access it.
I use a FREE program called Hot Pop(hot popper).

Sue your POP and STMP needs to be set up as it was on the old computer, under
properties how it is set up there do the same in windows mail.
