Email is not able to send or receive keeps saying authorizing and coming up
with Windows Security Log on, all details in tools and accounts is correct.
Also getting the following error. Please help???

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See
RFC2821 4.1.1.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 550, Error
Number: 0x800CCC78

That's not the complete error message. For one thing, the server name is
missing. Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste the whole thing
into a reply here. We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete
error message.

Are you sure your server supports SSL on port 25? That is somewhat unusual.

I have tried all the changes outlined in the help.

Workpartners.com.au is a domain hosted by Syra.net.au.
I am unable to find published email settings for that web host, so let's
try a few generic things:

Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.
On that same screen, make sure that "Log on using Secure Password
Authentication" is not enabled.

If neither of those two settings fixes the problem, contact your domain host
for assistance.

Dear Sir,
Even im Having the same problem ...
The recieve part is OK bu sent .. iget the following error mesg :

"The connection to the server has failed. Account:
'(e-mail address removed)', Server: 'mail.torelcontrols.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 26, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0E"
(e-mail address removed)

cld you pls help

Who told you to use port 26? Port 25 is much more common, although
it can cause problems also. Change the port number here:
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
then change port 26 to 25.
If you get an error with port 25, get back to us with a copy of the
error message.

Actually, your problem is not the same.

You should ask a torelcontrols.com administrator; they can help you. However
are you sure that you the port is supposed to be 26? Probably it should be
25.
