Can't send mail

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: ', Account:
'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10013, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
What do I do to fix this?
 
Tools > Accounts > your comcast account > Properties > Servers. Put a
checkmark on " My server requires authentication " > Advanced. SMTP port #
is 587, NOT 25 > OK

Which ? The Port # ? I have no idea. I am kind of new in computer myself. I
learned by reading and asking questions.
