Can't send mail from replies. No error given

This started today out of no where and I have no clue what is going on.

If I reply to a message in windows Mail on Vista it will go in the outbox.
When I click send/receive it doesn't send the message. If I click send all it
flashes the send/receive box fast and makes the noise as if I got new mail.
The weird thing is that if I create a new message I can send it.

Again I get no error at all and this just happened out of the blue. I didn't
download anything at all. I just cannot send a message that is replied to.

Hopefully this has nothing to do with my outbox currently because I have a
message that says the following

Message could not be displayed
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

When I try to delete it a pop up comes up that says
An unknown error has occured

the only thing to do is click ok as well as a link that says "get help form
the community" and leads to these forums.

Please help I'm really stumped

Thanks gary this helped by patching.

Use the Microsoft's fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.
