Cant send large email attachments

Hi all,

I am unable to send an email attachment of only 850K using
Outlook express. My service provider says I have their
dial-uo configured OK and it must be a Microsoft problem.
I am able to send smaller emails without a problem. With
the larger attachments I get a "Server has not responded
for 60 seconds" message.

If the "server doesnt respond" that would your ISP's server. Whats your ISP
limit on file attachment size?
 
My server has a limit on 2MB and the file is only 850K.
There is no other upload/download activity going on - and
I am able to send it without a problem from my laptop
using the same dial-up and settings.

Have same problem , always have to turn off firewall

then send , and then turn it back on when done sending
