All of a sudden I can't send emails. I can receive them. Did all my settings
over still not working. Did my settings on another computer works fine.
Getting error message (0x80042109) can't connect to outgoing SMTP.
This seems to have started when my computer down loaded updates from msft.
I tryed uninstalling recent updates still nothing.

Help?

Check your firewall settings and make sure Outlook is allowed to go through.
Various firewalls verify the version of Outlook that you allowed through as
well and since the update increased the version number of Outlook, you must
now mark it as safe again.

Error numbers mean nothing to me. I just do what anybody else would do, and
"google" it (or, in my case, "copernic" it):

<http://ws.copernic.com/copern/ws/re...e/iq=true/zoom=off/_iceUrlFlag=7?_IceUrl=true>

From which, a not very helpful link:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813514

Was that all there was to the error message? No verbose component?

Thanks for your reply. Found out my ISP changed ports cause to much spamming.
Changed my port works fine.
